Spring of 2018 is getting close & Moore Outdoors is celebrating 40 years of outfitting on Big Piney Creek! Since 1978, we've been renting canoes, rafts, and kayaks and shuttling people and boats for the whitewater paddler on Big Piney Creek or the hiker on Arkansas' own Ozark Highland Trail! Our Big Piney Creek Outpost is centrally located just 4 miles off of Scenic Highway 7, 10 miles north of Dover, and only 5 miles from Long Pool Recreation Area and Campground, which makes it convenient to visit other creeks and rivers, trails, cities, and/or restaurants while you're here! We can show you the short cuts to the Illinois Bayou, the Buffalo River, and the Mulberry, as well as trails like Glory Hole, Pedastal Rock, and Kings River Bluff. Mountain biking or ATV's your thing, no problem. We're only a short drive from Mocassin Gap Horse/ATV Trail, Pilot Rock area, and Treat Road. At the intersection of State Highway 164 West and Long Pool Road or Old Highway 7, we're just an 1/8 of a mile from Moore Outdoors Take-out and private Campground. Stop by the store and pick up whitewater supplies including dry bags & boxes, lifejackets, paddling jackets and pants, helmets, and paddles and t-shirts, or ice, drinks, and snacks and basic picnic & camping supplies. We offer shuttle service for private boats and parts of the eastern section of the Ozark Highland Trail. Moore Outdoors Campground is across the creek from the take-out at the Twin Bridges, complete with flush toilets and hot showers. Camping's not for you? We have a specialty cabin for two, the Indian Creek Cabin, only a mile from the put-in at Helton's Farm at Treat. Fully furnished, including a Jacuzzi. All you have to bring is your groceries!
